Eastern Suburbs get set to face Tāmaki-Makaurau rivals Auckland United in an epic four match line up on May 27th.
It’s a festival of football that features the club’s top four teams: Women’s and men’s premier, men’s under 23’s and women’s reserves.
It’ll be the first time Auckland United has hosted a male curtain raiser for two women’s teams.
The headline match – the women’s Lotto NRFL that kicks off last will also be played for the inuagraul Rennell Family Trophy.
The cup was inspired by Paul Rennell who is a life member at Eastern Suburbs and former club captain. He is always at our men’s and women’s premier wearing proud Lilywhite gears. However, Rennell’s granddaughters play for Auckland United – his son also involved with the club.
Nothing like some health family competition.
With all four of our top teams currently sitting in the top two of their respective competition ladders, it’s certainly a day not to be missed.
