ESAFC Summer Development Programme - 2020

Throughout Term 4 2020 Eastern Suburbs will be running a development programme for players in the following age groups:

7th/8th Grade Mixed
9th/10th Grade Mixed

11th/12th Grade Mixed
13th/14th Grade Mixed

This programme is designed for players who would like to continue with their football development during the Summer period, but are unable to commit to all academy sessions. Fees for the ESAFC Term 4 Summer Development Programme will be $175.

In Term 4 of 2020 we will be running our programme in conjunction with Football 7's (https://football7s.co.nz/), with players taking part in one training session and one game each week. There will also be the option to only do one training session each week ($100 for the term). Teams will be allocated at the discretion of the club.

The training session each week will encompass two 45-minute parts. The first part will focus on movement competency and building the strength, agility, and dynamic ability to make concise and accurate football movements, while the second will be an ESAFC football session, encouraging lots of time on the ball while working on different aspects of player development throughout the term.

Please note that venues are subject to change prior to Term 4 commencing due to grounds availability

All fees must be paid in full by 30th November 2020. If you are unable to do so, please contact accounts@esafc.org.nz as soon as possible.

PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE GRADE THAT YOUR CHILD WILL BE NEXT YEAR - Registrations for the game aspect of development programme will close on Wednesday 7th October so that teams can be announced. Teams will only be selected if there are sufficient players to create a team or teams.

Monday training 3:45pm – 5:15pm @ Crossfield 5
Wednesday 7-aside game (games will be at Michaels Ave Reserve, players will be allocated into teams at the clubs discretion)

9th/10th Grade Mixed

Monday training 4:30pm – 6pm @ Crossfield 5
Wednesday 7-aside game (games will be at Michaels Ave Reserve, players will be allocated into teams at the clubs discretion)

11th/12th Grade Mixed

Tuesday 7-aside game for (games will be at College Rifles, players will be allocated into teams at the clubs discretion)
Thursday training 4:30pm – 6pm @ Ngahue

13th/14th Grade Mixed

Tuesday 7-aside game for (games will be at College Rifles, players will be allocated into teams at the clubs discretion)
Thursday training 5:15pm – 6:45pm @ Ngahue

Summer 7's game times

Projected game times for each age group are as follows - please note that these are by the year which you are currently in (if you are registering for the U10 programme you will compete in the 9th grade league).

Game times are subject to change depending on the number of teams who are registered.
