Term 4 Coaching in 2021

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions in place, we are unable to carry out normal training programmes during Term 4.

Commencing from the week of 25th October, we will be running casual training sessions to be held in groups of 5-9 people. Sessions will be split by ability, age, and gender where possible to ensure players are working with their peers.

Although we are unable to offer close-contact activities, our coaches are working hard to plan a range of fitness and individual ball skills to keep players on their toes and ready to play again when the government allows.

Coaching clinics are now available to book through our Summer Clubhub. Sessions can only be booked by day at this stage, with the potential to extend depending on demand and attendance. Training will cost $8.50 for each 45-minute session, and players will not be able to attend unless fees are paid upon booking.

All sessions will be held at Madills Farm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the below times. Players may attend sessions on as many days throughout the week as they wish, as long as registered and paid for through the SUMMER CLUBHUB.

  • 9th – 11th Grade: 4:15pm to 5pm
  • 12th – 13th Grade: 5:15pm to 6pm
  • 14th – 17th Grade: 5:15pm to 6pm

At this stage we are unfortunately unable to provide sessions for our younger members due to the importance of physical distancing and individual nature of the sessions.

Pilates for Sport – Strengthening to optimise function

Cost: $10 per session

Wednesdays 4:30pm to 5:30pm at Madills Farm

Available now to book through the Summer Clubhub for players in grades 12 and up. Must bring a mat or towel and water bottle as it will be outside. If weather is poor, sessions will still be run but via Zoom. Please download the ESAFC App, as we will make a call by 3.30pm if the weather seems dubious!

All players will receive an email with their designated coach and meeting point the day of the session. All players and parents will need to follow the below rules:

  • Parents must stay in cars at all times
  • Players aged 12 and up must wear a mask to and from their session, masks may be removed during the session. Younger players are also encouraged to wear masks for their own safety
  • Players should report directly to their allocated coach and meeting area to sign in and hand sanitise
  • Once signed in, players must stand behind a cone away from others (as directed by coach)
  • All players should bring own drink bottle, sharing will not be permitted
  • Players must stay 2 metres away from others at all times
  • Players must only use the ball that they are given, and should not pick this or any cones up at any time
  • At the conclusion of the session, players must return directly to their car and avoid socialising with peers

Again, we appreciate your support and patience during this difficult time, and hope these sessions will give players an opportunity to keep active and involved with their football.
