Woman’s Competition Format and Dates:

Double Round Robin, home and away. Total of 14 NRFL competition matches for the season.

 

Season Dates:

Sunday 21st June (Round 1) – Season starts (Note some Friday night games for Western Springs, some yet to be confirmed for Forrest Hill).

Sunday 27th September – End of round robin (14 matches).

 

NB: Sunday 30th August – Catch-up day. If no catch-up matches required, then R14 will be brought forward and played on 30^th August. In this case R13 (20^th Sept) would the final round.

 

If further catch-up matches are required, these may be played on 3^rd and 10^th October.

 

Kate Sheppard Cup:

There will be no knock out competitions this season, which includes the Kate Sheppard Cup

 

Substitutions:

The new IFAB Law of the Game for substitutions has been adopted by the NRFL for the 2020 season – up to five permitted (not rolling) from five named substitutes. The substitutions to take place during a maximum of three substitution windows during the match (exclusive of halftime).
